Carmelo L. Macias (R.P.L.S. NO. 4333) has over 35 years experience in providing on the ground surveys for highway projects, using both conventional methods and global positioning systems. As part owner and Vice-President, he has been active in both the field and office operations, and has always given his undivided attention to client satisfaction. He has been actively involved with 15 design highway projects from Brownsville to Amarillo, Texas. Most currently, he was the Lead Surveyor for the historical SH 130 highway project from Georgetown to Seguin, Texas. His duties included the field verification of existing topographic aerial mapping, taking cross-sections for hydrological studies, verifying and setting horizontal and vertical control for mapping and construction using static GPS, and preparing a publication of the results. Macias & Associates, L.P. prepared approximately 500 parcel plats, legal descriptions, control of access clauses and closure sheets. Mr. Macias' understanding of all surveying activities as it relates to TxDOT highway projects comes from his vast experience working with districts like Austin, Waco, Brownsville, Brownwood, and Amarillo.

Dolores Macias is President and has been part owner of Macias and Associates, L.P. for 21 years. Ms. Macias is experienced in all accounting and business operations, and oversees the Administration, Accounting and Human Resource Departments. She is responsible for all financial decisions which include purchasing, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing and the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports. Her duties also include negotiations for Medical, General Liability, Worker's Compensation and Professional Insurances.

Bob Cortinez has more than 35 years of professional surveying experience. He has management experience in the preparation of database management and field communications. His area of expertise is computer management in boundary analysis, land surveying, topographic mapping, and global positioning systems surveys. His professional profile includes project management; surveying and right-of-way engineering management; construction management, organization and coordination; feasibility analysis; contract preparation and administration; consultant and agency liaison; negotiation/business development; and quality management/quality control.

Gino Macias graduated from University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration specializing in Marketing, as well as additional studies in Geomatics/Land Surveying. He has an extensive background in the fields of corporate service, business marketing, and media. Gino oversees the day to day operations of Human Resources, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Contracts and works with the CEO and Vice President on all financial and administrative duties.
